Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible managing and delivering small to large-scale interactive website design/development projects. The Project Manager works directly with the client, internal Five Times Too team members, and 3rd-party contractors to the ensure objectives and goals of each project are delivered on-time and on-budget. Project Managers must have 2-5 years agency experience managing interactive projects that encompass all project stages, including discovery, planning, design, development and implementation.
As the key point of contact for both the Client and the project team, the Project Manager is the key factor in the success of an engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and managing the project plan and working with project teams to execute
- Monitor day-to-day activities of the project team and ensure work is progressing as planned. Work with project team and be actively involved in all aspects of the work
- Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals
- Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance
- Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback
- Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations to clients and team members on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and at least 2+ years of experience in interactive project management
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams
- Ability to understand and document project requirements and dependencies
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects
- Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion
- Experience with the design and development large-scale websites
- Competencies in MS Office, MS Project, bug tracking, CRM, and other communcations tools
Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing original creative design concepts as well as overseeing project design all the way through execution.
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years experience with interactive media design.
- Must be wildly creative and have a passion for designing outside of the default.
- Must understand user behavior as it relates to design and web usability.
- Proficiency in leading design software, e.g., Illustrator, Flash, and Photoshop.
- Understanding of practical benefits and limitations of Internet technologies (Shockwave, Flash, Java, DHTML, CGI, etc.)
- Understanding how design comps translate to code -- Usability vs. Practicality vs. Design
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain client relationships.
- Able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Web Developer (Drupal)
Five Times Too Web Developers will work on projects for external clients as well as internal Five Times Too projects. Our Web Developers work with our project managers, interaction designers, and graphic designers to create interactive solutions for clients -- often built on Drupal. He or she will build, test, debug, troubleshoot programs and scripts for various functions, and modify existing code to add new features.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 1-4 years Drupal development experience
- Proficiency with Drupal theme and module customization
- Experience with PHP
- Understanding of object oriented programming and relational data modeling
- An understanding of Ajax, jQuery, and other JavaScript libraries
- Expert experience with HTML and CSS table-less design
- Experience with website speed optimization
- Superior and tireless problem solving skills
- Able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of and experience with SVN
- Experience with UNIX/Linux administration
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Cloud Front, etc.) a plus
Freelance Developer (Client Side)
Five Times Too is currently seeking a motivated, hands-on freelance front-end web developer to join the Five Times Too development team. Developers are responsible for building, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting clean, web standards compliant code and work with server-side developers to integrate this into the final product.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in front-end web development
- Expert hands-on knowledge of javascript
- Experience translating comps and wireframes into flexible and usable code templates
- Strong working knowledge developing cross platform/browser compatibility (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.) for dynamic web applications
- Familiarity with and adherence to web standards and best practices for load time reduction and accessibility
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Experience with source/version control software is a plus
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people
- Basic familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and animation libraries and DOM manipulationFamiliarity with Django, PHP, Drupal or Moveable Type is a plus
- jQuery / Ajax / heavyweight and OO javascript experience
- The duration of this engagement is 3-4 months, with the potential for extension
